Upcoming Events
Our next bus trip will be on: Friday, 8th October
and we will be visiting the Glass House Mountains area. Here's the itinerary:
1. Caboolture- A private garden on 3/4 of an acre. This garden opens annually in the Open Garden Scheme, and features mainly tropical plants.
We will have morning tea here. Plants will be on sale.
2. Glass House Mountains-
A private garden with orchids and other plants. This home has 8 orchid
and bush houses, so should be something to see. Both orchids and other
plants will be for sale.
3. Lunch- This will be at the North Rugby Club and RSL (a combined club), at Anzac Avenue, Kallangur.
4. South Rothwell- Another private garden, with many orchids and plants for sale.
Depending on the destination, the bus usually departs Nerang at 0630, picks up at Canungra, Beaudesert, then Jimboomba.
Fares, which includes morning tea and lunch, are:
Members: $25.00 per person
Non-members: $35.00 per person.
Our last bus trip sold out within days, and are proving to
be very popular. Our "Trips Coordinator" John always provides a full
and varied itinerary, and many put their names down
even before the trips are planned!
